Role Overview

We are in search of a Change Risk Manager to enhance our Risk division. This position presents a remarkable opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team focused on supporting our organizational growth objectives. You will collaborate with the Head of Change and Third Party Risk, working across the three lines of defense to establish a reputation for delivering proactive oversight, support, and assurance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Change leaders and stakeholders to provide guidance and oversight on ongoing change and transformation projects.
  • Assist Change teams in managing risks and controls effectively during the implementation of changes.
  • Partner with other Risk Subject Matter Experts to oversee and challenge first-line business functions involved in change initiatives.
  • Ensure continuous improvement in Change Risk management practices across the organization and with Third Parties.
  • Work closely with other Risk functions and Audit teams to ensure comprehensive oversight.

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in financial services with a solid understanding of the sector.
  • Background in risk management within a large corporate environment.
  • Proficient in applying risk management frameworks effectively.
  • Strong focus on principles that align with strategic business goals while balancing risk management and client outcomes.
  • Familiarity with change management processes in large organizations, particularly in Financial Services.
  • In-depth knowledge of the FCA Handbook and its practical applications.
  • Awareness of current change-related risks in financial services.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of simplifying complex information for diverse audiences.
  • Analytical mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement in processes and relationships.
  • Demonstrate credibility and integrity, embodying the values of Hargreaves Lansdown.

Interview Process

The selection process will consist of two stages: a competency-based interview followed by an assessment task.

Work Arrangement

This is a permanent, full-time position with a standard workweek. We offer a flexible hybrid working model, allowing for a combination of remote and office work.
