Are you passionate about making a positive impact on individuals within the criminal justice system? Do you have a strong desire to support vulnerable clients in their rehabilitation journey? We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate Prison Support Worker to join our team at Red 5 People Ltd.

About the Role

In this exciting opportunity, you'll work closely with clients across prison and probation settings to facilitate their resettlement and employment. Your primary focus will be on providing one-to-one guidance, setting goals, and milestones to empower their progress. You'll be based at HMP Littlehey (3–4 days per week) and Huntingdon Probation Trust, working collaboratively with our team to deliver exceptional support services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of clients, providing tailored support to facilitate their rehabilitation and resettlement
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to address clients' needs and goals
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new programs and services
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Experience working with individuals within the criminal justice system, either in a prison or custodial setting
  • Alternatively, experience supporting vulnerable clients in areas such as mental health, substance misuse, or homelessness
  • Criminology graduates with relevant voluntary experience are also encouraged to apply
