We are seeking a skilled Production Planning Specialist to contribute to the success of our Sensors Division at Curtiss-Wright.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining production plans and material requirements in accordance with the Master Production Schedule and in line with orders and forecasts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with assembly teams to ensure timely completion of jobs in line with production plans.
- Maintain scheduled production plans and material requirements in accordance with the Master Production Schedule.
- Work with cross-functional teams to achieve required production schedules.
- Identify and communicate bottlenecks that may impact effective production, such as material shortages or delays.
- Release and maintain relevant paperwork for assembly and other areas of the business.
- Coordinate with the purchasing team to align material receipt with demands.
- Update and maintain the accuracy of the ERP system with related planning data.
- Support the management and control of inventory levels and work-in-progress.
- Contribute to problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives with the wider teams.
Requirements:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent team player with a self-motivated and proactive approach.
- Good communication skills and proficiency with Excel.
