We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Support Worker to join our team at Jupiter Recruitment. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage a team of support workers to ensure the highest standards of care and support are delivered to residents.
- Conduct regular supervisions and appraisals to ensure staff are meeting their full potential.
- Contribute to the development of care plans and coaching support workers to ensure residents receive the best possible care.
- Act as a professional ambassador for our service, promoting our care services to relatives, prospective residents, and enquiries.
- Participate in updating and writing care plans and resident documentation to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
- Be responsible for making and reporting realistic assessments of each resident to ensure continuity of care.
- Administer medication to residents in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Proven experience of working in a care setting, preferably in a senior role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Good understanding of care planning and coaching principles.
- A genuine desire to care for others and make a positive difference in the lives of our residents.
- An excellent salary of £14.00 per hour, with the potential for career progression.
