Senior Support Worker

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Senior Support Worker to work in a residential care setting. You will be working for a leading healthcare provider, specialising in a range of care services including residential care, respite care, dementia care and convalescence care.
This special service requires a Senior Support Worker with an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent to facilitate the daily needs of residents, conduct formal supervisions and appraisals, and contribute to care planning and coaching support workers.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience of working in a care setting, be a good team player, and possess good verbal and written communication skills. They will also have a genuine desire to care for others.
The successful Senior Support Worker will receive an excellent salary of £14.00 per hour and the annual salary is £26,208 per annum. They will also receive a range of benefits including transport, mileage paid, pension scheme, comprehensive induction and paid training programme, and enhanced rates for bank holidays.
The Senior Support Worker will be responsible for making and reporting realistic assessments of each resident to ensure continuity of care, and will be required to administer medication to the residents in accordance with policies and procedures.
The successful candidate will be a key member of the care team, working closely with other staff to provide high-quality care to residents.
