Senior Support Worker

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Senior Support Worker to work in a residential care setting. You will be working for a leading healthcare provider in the UK.
This service specialises in a range of care services, including residential care, respite care, dementia care, and convalescence care.
To be considered for this position, you must have an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
As the Senior Support Worker, your key duties include:
- Recognising and facilitating the daily needs of residents
- Conducting formal supervisions and appraisals
- Contributing to care planning and coaching support workers
- Participating in updating and writing care plans and resident documentation
- Being responsible for making and reporting realistic assessments of each resident to ensure continuity of care
- Being responsible for administering medication to residents in accordance with policies and procedures
The following skills and experience would be beneficial for the role:
- Proven experience of working in a care setting
- A good team player
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- A genuine desire to care for others
The successful Senior Support Worker will receive an excellent salary of £14.00 per hour and the annual salary is £26,208 per annum. We offer a range of benefits, including:
