Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead our dispensary team and drive the delivery of exceptional pharmacy services in our Taunton store. As a Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of pharmacy professionals in providing outstanding customer service, ensuring the safe and effective running of the pharmacy, and driving the delivery of key performance indicators (KPIs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of pharmacy professionals in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the delivery of high-quality pharmacy services.
  • Ensure the safe and effective running of the pharmacy, including the management of pharmacy stock, ordering, and replenishment.
  • Drive the delivery of key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure the pharmacy team is working towards achieving these targets.
  • Collaborate with other pharmacy colleagues, offering support and advice where required, and sharing accurate information in a confidential and timely manner.
  • Coach and lead the pharmacy team, providing guidance and direction to ensure a safe and effective workflow is in place.
  • Be responsible for the completion of all pharmacy audits and any resulting actions/outputs.
  • Ensure compliance to pharmacy data security and protection at all times.
  • Oversee the ordering and replenishment of pharmacy stock and control the sale of medicines.
  • Build relationships with GPs and other healthcare professionals in the community.
  • Use expert knowledge and opportunistic interventions to maximize services and sales, while complying with clinical, ethical, and legal requirements.

Requirements:

  • Pharmacy degree
  • Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  • Experience of working in the community pharmacy sector
  • Enthusiastic and committed to delivering pharmacy services and KPIs
  • Deliver the highest level of customer service, building relationships with customers, colleagues, and the community
