About the Role:

HANA GROUP UK LIMITED is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sushi Chef Manager to lead our team in a fast-paced environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of sushi chefs to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and health and safety regulations, maintaining audit standards and meeting EHO expectations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve food quality, presentation, and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to minimize waste and optimize profitability.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer service.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and provide coaching, training, and feedback to team members.
  • Monitor and control labor costs, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Participate in menu planning, development, and implementation to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure accurate labeling and compliance with food safety and allergen regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Level 2 Food Safety certificate, HACCP, Allergens, and COSHH desirable.
  • Experience in leading a team in a fast-paced food service environment.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including early mornings and weekends.
  • Reliable transportation for commuting to work.
