Administrative Support Assistant

Job Summary:
Carter Brown is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Assistant to join their team. As an Administrative Support Assistant, you will provide administrative support to the team, ensuring the smooth operation of the office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the team, including data entry, filing, and photocopying.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including franking and responding to mail.
- Assist with ordering and managing stationery and office supplies.
- Enter data into databases and maintain accurate records.
- Accurately type letters and documents.
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and directing complex inquiries to the appropriate person.
- Take inbound calls and distribute to the relevant individual or department.
- Send out reference requests and chase up overdue responses.
- Support teams with administrative tasks, including preparing and printing marketing materials.
- Assist with the maintenance and updating of the central customer database.
- Maintain accurate records and databases, including Carter Brown Business Information Systems.
- Assist with the efficient organization of the office, including supplies, equipment, and contractor maintenance visits.
Requirements:
- Confidence when meeting and speaking to new people.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Smart professional appearance and self-motivated.
- Understanding of GDPR and confidentiality.
- Willingness to undertake a DBS check.
Desired Qualifications:
- GCSE Grades A to C or equivalent, specifically maths and English.
