Job Description

We are seeking an Administrative Support Assistant to join our team at Carter Brown. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to our staff, including answering phones, responding to emails, and maintaining records.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing post, including sorting, distributing, and filing documents.
  • Assist with database entry, data management, and data analysis.
  • Perform tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and shredding.
  • Order and manage stationery and office supplies.
  • Support our teams with general administrative tasks, including preparing and printing marketing materials.
  • Assist with the maintenance and updating of our central customer database.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures and policies.

Requirements:

  • GCSE Grades A to C or equivalent in maths and English.
  • Confidence when meeting and speaking to new people.
  • Time management and organisational skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Self-motivated and reliable, with a genuine interest in the legal sector.

Working in Partnerships:

  • Attend and participate in team meetings.
  • Present a professional image of Carter Brown at all times.
  • Communicate with a wide range of audiences and deliver excellent customer service.

Finance:

  • Process assessor invoices for completed cases.
  • Send out client agreements to relevant parties.
  • Effectively communicate with the accounts team when issues arise.

Training:

Vision West Nottinghamshire College will provide training and support to ensure the successful candidate reaches a minimum basic standard of IT competence.
