Role SummaryIn the capacity of Senior Consultant, you will engage with key stakeholders and leverage your technical expertise throughout various phases of the Software Development Life Cycle. This includes gathering requirements, defining application architecture, and designing solutions. You will be instrumental in producing high-level design documents and delivering quality code for specific modules. Additionally, you will lead validation efforts across all testing types and provide support for implementation, transition, and warranty activities.
Key Responsibilities- Engage in domain knowledge areas such as Trade Finance, Loans, Accounting, and Customer Maintenance applications.
- Facilitate requirements gathering and end-to-end design processes leading to deployment.
- Utilize over 7 years of hands-on experience in managing batch and online applications on IBM Mainframe.
Technical Skills Required:
- Languages: COBOL, JCL
- Tools: TSO/ISPF, SPUFI, FILE-AID, FILE MANAGER, CHANGMAN, IBM MQ, JIRA, HORIZON, Bit Bucket, IDZ, VM Ware, Sonar Cube, Sonar Lint, IDZ Debugger.
- Database: IMSDB
- Operating System: Z-OS
- File Organization: PS, PDS, GDG
- Online/GUI Tools: IMS DC
- Development Methodologies: Agile
Possession of Agile and Mainframe Certifications is advantageous.
