About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support to the Director of Midwifery and the senior midwifery and nursing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Director of Midwifery and the senior midwifery and nursing team.
  • Assist with the preparation of agendas, minutes, and reports.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and databases.
  • Provide business administration support to the Clinical Business Unit (CBU) in its approach to achieving its objectives.
  • Develop effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure clear and consistent communication.
  • Highlight and monitor changing priorities throughout the day and keep the team updated.

Requirements

  • GCSE English Grade C or above (or equivalent qualification).
  • Good command of the English language, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to use a variety of Microsoft software packages, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel spreadsheets.
  • Proven secretarial skills, including word processing, audio and copy typing to a speed of 50 wpm.
  • Experience of working at PA level for a senior manager.
