Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Therapeutic Radiographer Educator to join our team at The Christie NHS FT. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education and training to pre- and post-registration learners in radiotherapy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement education and training programs for pre- and post-registration learners in radiotherapy.
  • Provide expert clinical guidance and support to learners during their clinical placements.
  • Conduct training needs analysis and develop training plans to meet the needs of the service.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of education and training programs.
  • Develop and maintain technical skills required to prepare, facilitate, and deliver radiotherapy treatments.
  • Collaborate with the Education Principal Radiographer and section managers to develop and implement departmental policies and procedures.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to senior colleagues on education and training matters.
Requirements
  • Postgraduate qualification in radiotherapy or a related field.
  • Significant experience in education and training in radiotherapy.
  • Excellent clinical and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
