About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Associate Surveyor to join our Estates Team at Norse Consulting. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the Associate Director in managing property professionals and technical staff, as well as managing your own caseload.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide effective day-to-day management and performance management for the wider estates team.
  • Work in conjunction with clients to develop, implement, and monitor property strategies in accordance with their corporate plans.
  • Liaise with clients to support Valuation and Estates Management initiatives and manage an active asset valuation program.
  • Assist in monitoring the income and expenditure of the team, striving for best practice.
  • Provide proactive and responsive strategic advice to clients on all property issues.
  • Identify new business opportunities.
  • Contribute to the achievement of Estates business plan objectives and targets.
  • Comply with the Group's ISO standards, delivering quality-assured outputs.
Requirements
  • Chartered Membership of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in an Estates-related discipline.
  • Significant relevant experience with at least years post-qualification.
  • Previous experience in managing a team and/or management responsibilities.
  • Ideal experience of having worked within a Local Authority.
  • Understanding of or preferably direct Compulsory Purchase Order (CPO) and asset valuation experience.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
