The Estates Team comprises seasoned property experts who have been offering estates and asset management services for over 25 years. As a strategic partner to numerous Local Authorities, we utilize a joint venture model to deliver services tailored to our clients' needs through various contract types.
As an Associate Surveyor, your role will involve assisting the Associate Director in overseeing property professionals and technical staff specializing in property management, alongside managing your own caseload in line with strategic initiatives and directives while upholding the quality standards aligned with the Group's values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver effective daily management and robust performance oversight for the broader estates team.
- Collaborate with clients to develop, implement, and monitor property strategies that align with their corporate objectives.
- Engage with clients to support Valuation and Estates Management initiatives while managing an active asset valuation program.
- Assist in monitoring team income and expenditure, continuously striving for best practices.
- Provide proactive and responsive strategic advice to clients on all property-related matters.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Achieve fee-earning targets at 90% and contribute to the Estates business plan objectives.
- Adhere to Group ISO standards, ensuring quality-assured outputs.
- Perform any other duties relevant to the position, including frequent travel to other offices as necessary.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
We expect candidates to demonstrate the following qualifications and experience:
- Chartered Membership of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant Estates discipline.
- Significant relevant experience with a minimum of years post-qualification.
- Previous experience in team management or holding management responsibilities.
- Preferably, experience working within a Local Authority.
- Understanding of or direct experience with Compulsory Purchase Orders (CPO) and asset valuation.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
