Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Public Health Director to lead our team in developing and implementing a comprehensive public health strategy for babies, children, and young people. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public health, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Public Health Strategy: Develop a comprehensive public health strategy for babies, children, and young people, including the development of action plans and monitoring of progress.
  • Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement public health initiatives, including infant feeding, healthy start, oral health, and healthy weight programs.
  • Build Partnerships: Build and maintain partnerships with primary care providers, community organizations, and other stakeholders to improve public health outcomes for babies, children, and young people.
  • Provide Public Health Input: Provide public health input to local clinical pathway redesign and other initiatives to improve public health outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Public Health Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in public health, including experience in leadership and management roles.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Education: Master's degree in Public Health or related field.
