About the Role: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Retail Operations Support Specialist to join our team. In this position, you will play a vital role in facilitating various store functions to ensure efficient daily operations, including customer engagement, inventory oversight, and store upkeep. Your contributions will be essential in fostering a welcoming shopping atmosphere and ensuring a well-organized retail space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service by assisting shoppers with inquiries, resolving issues, and providing support.
  • Assist the sales team in managing inventory levels, which includes receiving shipments, unpacking products, and replenishing stock on shelves.
  • Ensure the store maintains a clean and appealing appearance by organizing sales floors, stock areas, and communal spaces.
  • Help in arranging product displays, promotional signage, and seasonal decorations to improve store aesthetics.
  • Conduct regular inventory assessments and communicate any discrepancies or concerns regarding stock levels to management.
  • Manage returns, exchanges, and customer questions professionally, adhering to store guidelines.
  • Utilize the point-of-sale system to accurately process transactions, including cash and card payments.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet store objectives, including sales goals and operational effectiveness.
  • Support the enforcement of health, safety, and store regulations to maintain a secure and compliant work environment.
  • Engage in training sessions and team discussions to stay updated on new products, store policies, and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in retail or operational roles is advantageous.
  • Prior experience in a retail or support capacity is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities with an emphasis on customer service.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple responsibilities.
  • Basic familiarity with point-of-sale systems and cash handling.
  • Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Physical capability to lift and move merchandise as required.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
  • A positive mindset, enthusiasm for retail, and a dedication to supporting store operations.
