About the Role:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to work as a Pharmacy Manager, joining a highly reputable private hospital based in a state-of-the-art facility. The hospital has a wide range of specialties and procedures, including orthopaedics, gynaecology, cardio, and many more.
Key Responsibilities:
- The provision of exemplary pharmacy service in accordance with current legislation and clinical requirements.
- Provide advice to consultants, other clinicians, and patients.
- Ensuring the safe, appropriate, and cost-effective use of medicines.
- Responsible for leading, motivating, and managing a pharmacy team.
- Advise on the safe management of medicines to the hospital and its departments.
- Lead on quality improvement projects and audit within pharmacy.
Requirements:
- Be GPHC registered - your pin must not have any restrictions or conditions.
- Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
- At least 4 years experience working as a Pharmacist in a clinical setting in the UK.
- Managerial experience in a Pharmacy setting in the UK is essential.
- Awareness and knowledge of Oncology Pharmacy.
- Excellent communication skills.
