Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Analyst to support, review, and compile mechanical analysis documentation to clients. The successful candidate will help to prove the mechanical, rotor dynamic, and structural integrity of our products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Sales and Tendering Departments in developing new and varied pump and package designs.
  • Provide advice and support to Design Engineers to determine requirements for rotor dynamic design calculations and structural Finite Element Analysis (FEA) investigations.
  • Perform Pressure boundary FEA analysis.
  • Prepare design reports in relation to Mechanical Integrity and Design Validation assessments.
  • Support the Service Division in mechanical analysis and/or assessments for pump retrofits and upgrades.

Requirements

  • Degree Qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Relevant experience within the related industry, including knowledge of industry practices and standards.
  • Relevant experience within the related industry, ideally in the Oil and Gas sector.
  • Knowledge of finite element analysis techniques.
  • Knowledge of rotor dynamics (lateral and torsional).
  • Good communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to change.
  • Excellent attention to detail skills.
