As a Mechanical Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting, reviewing, and compiling mechanical analysis documentation to clients, ensuring the mechanical, rotor dynamic, and structural integrity of our products.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the Sales & Tendering Departments with new and varied pump and package designs
  • Providing advice and support to Design Engineers on rotor dynamic design calculations and structural FEA investigations
  • Pressure boundary FEA analysis
  • Design reports for Mechanical Integrity and Design Validation assessments
  • Support to the Service Division for mechanical analysis and/or assessments

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Degree Qualification in Mechanical Engineering
  • Relevant experience within the related industry, including knowledge of industry practices & standards
  • Relevant experience within the related industry, ideally Oil and Gas
  • Knowledge of finite element analysis techniques
  • Knowledge of rotor dynamics (lateral and torsional)
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong negotiation and Analytical skills
  • Excellent Customer service skills
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to change
  • Excellent attention to detail skills
