We are seeking a skilled Claims Analyst to join our team at Direct Line Group. As a Claims Analyst, you will play a critical role in providing data-driven insights to inform business decisions and drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Claims Analytics Business Partner in providing management information, business intelligence, and insights to the Claims Exec and Senior Leadership team.
- Contribute to forums for discussion, interrogation, and challenge of claims performance and benefit delivery with Claims Exec & Senior Leadership Teams.
- Analyse MI data to inform stakeholders across Claims of performance, interpreting and presenting findings.
- Work with Claims Operational Management to design and implement fit-for-purpose reporting containing relevant, accurate, timely, and commercially-focussed lead and lag key performance Indicators.
- Continuously seek to improve the quality of MI provided to the business, working with the business to educate and shape the MI request.
- Adept at resolving complex problems in mining and manipulation of data, identifying alternative non-standard mechanisms and approaches to achieve the desired output.
- Experience with data analysis of large datasets.
- Experience with SQL and SAS.
- Previous experience working in Financial Services analysis role (Insurance desirable).
