Job Overview

Curio Careers is seeking a highly skilled and ambitious Midweight Interior Designer to join our team on a 12-18 month contract with potential for extension. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a high-end residential and hospitality project, transforming a Grade II* Estate into a boutique, flagship hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development of our design projects, working closely with Design Directors and Lead Architects to deliver high-end interior concepts.
  • Progress the design through technical stages, ensuring quality and attention to detail throughout.
  • Develop and implement FF&E ideas and schedules, collaborating with the design team to deliver exceptional results.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, providing expert guidance and support throughout the project.
  • Collaborate with the design team to create technical packages, including floor plans and specifications.

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years of post-qualification experience as a Midweight Interior Designer.
  • Detailed design experience, with a focus on high-end residential and hospitality projects.
  • Experience working with Grade II/II* Listed Buildings is a plus.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • AutoCAD skills, with experience in technical packages.
  • Excellent communication and written skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
