Job Overview

You will be responsible for coordinating outpatient appointments, validating waiting lists, and ensuring timely management of referrals. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to work effectively with patients, relatives, and healthcare professionals.

Main Duties
  • Provide administrative support to the Elderly Care team, including coordination of outpatient appointments and validation of waiting lists.
  • Ensure timely management of referrals, including entry onto Lorenzo with an appropriate access plan.
  • Work independently using your own initiative and apply a high degree of confidentiality to all aspects of your work.
  • Undertake duties without direct supervision, working within broad procedural guidelines.

Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate who is educated to minimum GSCE level or equivalent, with experience of working within outpatient or an administrative role. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and apply a high degree of confidentiality to all aspects of your work.
