Deputy Manager

Medsolve is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Domiciliary Care Deputy Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role that offers a competitive salary of £34,000, plus mileage allowance.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective management of Medsolve's Home Care Service. They will work closely with the Registered Manager and Senior Management Team to provide quality social care, promote service users' independence, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the operational management and compliance of all care delivery practices and procedures.
- Conduct regular audits and develop action plans for continuous improvement.
- Maintain strong knowledge of CQC regulations, Local Authority Quality Band Assessments, and GDPR.
- Ensure all staff adhere to the highest standards of health, safety, and person-centered care.
- Promote staff engagement and teamwork.
- Oversee recruitment processes to ensure robust staffing.
- Assist in implementing strategies to promote staff retention and professional development.
- Conduct regular performance appraisals, supervisions, and ensure mandatory training is completed.
- Promote dignity and respect across the service, ensuring positive communication with customers and colleagues.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with social workers, community teams, and other professional organisations.
- Support the implementation of performance management and quality assurance systems to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Previous experience and knowledge of home care, including leadership responsibilities.
- NVQ Level 4 qualification in Health and Social Care, level 5 qualification being desirable.
- Full driving license and access to a car.
- Strong IT, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage a busy workload and take decisive action when needed.
