Job Overview

Nigel Wright Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing financial guidance and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, cash flow statements, profit and loss statements, and annual budgets.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze and review cost management performance to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Financial Planning: Develop and implement financial plans to support business growth and expansion.
  • Financial Control: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Ad-Hoc Duties: Perform other financial-related tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: AAT or part-qualified accounting professional with a strong background in financial control systems and budget setting.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office 365, particularly Advanced Excel and Word. Knowledge of Sage Line 50 is a plus.
  • Analytical Skills: Experience working with large data sets and ability to manipulate data to inform business decisions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to influence and make an impact.
