About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our team at Nigel Wright Recruitment. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing financial guidance and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Craft and present monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, cash flow statements, profit and loss statements, and annual budgets.
  • Analyze and review cost management performance to ensure optimal financial outcomes.
  • Coordinate new starter and leaver processes, and manage payroll with precision.
  • Stay up-to-date with financial standards and legislation to ensure compliance.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as required, utilizing your expertise and enthusiasm.
Requirements
  • AAT or part-qualified accounting professional with a passion for financial control systems and budget setting.
  • Proficiency in MS Office 365, particularly Advanced Excel and Word.
  • Bonus points for knowledge of Sage Line 50 and experience with large data sets.
  • Ability to produce management accounts and provide analysis.
  • Commercial mindset with a deep understanding of how different business functions work together.
  • Accurate, precise, inquisitive, reliable, and determined personality with a positive outlook.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to influence and make an impact, coupled with a dynamic communication style.
