Role Overview:

As a Head Waiter/Waitress, you will be integral to the flawless execution of service within your designated section during our bustling dinner hours. Collaborating closely with both the restaurant and bar teams, your focus will be on delivering outstanding service that enhances the guest experience. The lively ambiance of Sumosan Twiga thrives in the evenings, and your role will require dedication to working late into the night as part of our distinguished front-of-house team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a specific area of the dining space, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Motivate and guide your team of commis and runners to uphold exceptional service standards.
  • Act as the main point of contact for guest inquiries, addressing them with professionalism and promptness.
  • Encourage and promote our diverse food and beverage selections while managing orders and processing payments in your area.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of your dining section to maintain a welcoming environment.
  • Communicate any operational issues to the Restaurant Manager for swift resolution.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced setting where guest satisfaction and quality are paramount.

Candidate Profile:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a fine dining establishment or a comparable environment is preferred.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication abilities.
  • Capability to remain composed under pressure while maintaining professionalism.
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required.
  • Legal eligibility to work in the UK.
