Purpose
As an Assistant Shop Manager in our retail team, your purpose is to manage the shop in alignment with company policies, maximizing sales and profits while increasing the profile of Shaw Trust. You will play a key role in achieving financial goals, maintaining high standards, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the shop in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Maximize sales and profits through effective inventory management, pricing strategies, and customer engagement.
- Develop and implement plans to increase the profile of Shaw Trust in the local community.
- Lead and motivate the retail team to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
- Monitor and control shop expenses, ensuring efficient use of resources.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience of successfully working to targets in a retail environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate concisely and effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.
