MINI Plant Oxford - Manufacturing Engineer, Paint Shop

We are seeking two confident and eager to learn students to join our team within the Paint Shop at MINI Plant Oxford.

The Paint Shop is responsible for ensuring the high-quality surface finishing of a MINI, which is why our work is crucial to the success of the plant.

As a Manufacturing Engineer in the Paint Shop, you will be responsible for leading projects to drive continuous improvement, focusing on improving and stabilising the performance of automated areas.

You will also be responsible for steering a systematic and sustainable approach to root cause analysis and troubleshooting within robotics and automated material application.

Additionally, you will develop and implement training that will identify and resolve quality and throughput issues.

Requirements:
  • Studying towards a Bachelor's or integrated Master's degree in an Engineering-based course.
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word etc).

We offer a competitive annual salary of £23,650, 26 days holiday per annum (pro rata to your contract) and an attractive pension scheme.

Contracted working hours are 37 hours a week, with a half day on a Friday, helping you develop a fulfilling work-life balance.
