PM Group is seeking a highly skilled Environmental Health and Safety Specialist to join their team at a biopharmaceutical site.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into accidents and incidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and deliver safety training programs to ensure employees have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their jobs safely.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety standards and regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including employees, management, and external partners, to promote a culture of safety and well-being.


Requirements:


  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of implementing and maintaining effective health and safety programs.
  • Demonstrated experience working in the construction and pharmaceutical industries or similar sectors.
  • Experience in construction safety, with a strong understanding of relevant regulations and standards.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or other recognized safety certifications.
