Children's Disability Services Manager

We are seeking an exceptional leader to join our team at Little London Academy as a Children With Disabilities Team Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with Autism and/or Complex Communication Needs.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our new Resource Provision, Little London Bridge, which will provide specialist education and support to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, complex language and communication needs, and other complex specialist educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of an exciting and inspiring curriculum that meets the needs of children with complex needs.
- Coach and mentor staff to reach high standards in our school and across the wider Trust.
- Build strong relationships with parents and carers to ensure they are involved in their child's learning journey.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the needs of children with complex needs are met.
- Contribute to the development of innovative approaches to learning, particularly in regard to children with ASD.
Requirements:
- Experience of working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, complex language and communication needs, and/or other complex specialist educational needs.
- Qualified Teacher Status with the attributes of a great future leader.
- A proven track record of achieving academic excellence.
- Evidence of implementing innovative approaches to learning, particularly in regard to children with ASD.
- Experience of meeting the needs of children and young people who benefit from specialist provision within a mainstream setting.
