Crime Scene Investigator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Crime Scene Investigator to join our team at Dorset Police. As a Crime Scene Investigator, you will play a critical role in conducting scientific examinations and gathering evidence to support the investigation of crimes.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough and meticulous crime scene investigations to identify, record, and recover physical and digital forensic evidence.
- Collaborate with officers, members of the public, and victims of crime to secure effective cooperation and coordination of scene investigations.
- Conduct risk assessments of scenes and forensic evidence to ensure the safety of all individuals involved.
- Develop and maintain expertise in forensic science and technology to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and methodologies.
