Children's Residential Deputy Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our Children's Residential Home Senior Management Team. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of positive outcomes for our young people and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure each young person has an allocated key worker and that staff are aware of their placement plan and responsibilities.
- Attend childcare reviews and planning meetings to provide information and achieve best outcomes for young people.
- Undertake direct work with young people and act as an appropriate role model.
- Assist in developing systems for young people to be consulted about the quality of care they receive.
- Support the Registered Manager in implementing all aspects of the Statement of Purpose.
- Contribute to devising, implementing, and evaluating changes to improve services, systems, and standards.
- Deputise for the Registered Manager as required.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels and allocate resources effectively.
- NVQ 3 in caring for Children and Young People (or equivalent).
- Understanding of the Ofsted framework (SCCIF).
- Knowledge of the Children Act and other relevant legislation.
- Strong team building and supervision skills.
- Ability to manage teams effectively and motivate staff.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- A Full UK driving licence is required.
- £30 sleep-in rate.
- Overtime paid at an enhanced rate.
