About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Actuarial Manager to join our team at Aviva. As a key member of our Group Actuarial & Capital Change (GACC) team, you will play a critical role in improving our approach to Credit Risk modelling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement advanced Credit Risk models to support our capital management and pricing strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish calibrations and approaches for Solvency Capital Requirements (SCR).
  • Produce high-quality papers for expert panels and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to drive business outcomes.
Requirements
  • Qualified actuary with extensive experience in modelling credit risks and annuity portfolios.
  • Proven track record in technical actuarial roles, including actuarial functions, calibrations, and risk management.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate complex information effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary between £90,000 and £100,000, depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
