Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Actuarial Analyst to join our team at Aviva. As an Actuarial Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the actuarial aggregation team by producing financial results and supporting analysis, data, and models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce financial results and support analysis, data, and models to inform business decisions.
  • Deliver tasks assigned by engagement managers and senior colleagues, working within required timescales to ensure demands are met.
  • Support any change activity designed to accelerate team processes or respond to regulatory change, such as automation and IFRS17.
  • Share knowledge and support colleagues across the department to deliver assigned tasks and enable a flexible resourcing model.

Requirements:

  • Part-qualified Actuary or equivalent experience.
  • Financial or regulatory reporting experience, preferably with IFRS and Solvency II.
  • Good communication skills, verbal and written, with the ability to communicate complex issues simply.
  • Ability to work independently and on their own initiative, knowing when to escalate.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

What We Offer:

  • Salary ranges from £30,000 - £45,000, depending on skills, experience, and qualifications.
  • Bonus opportunity - 8% of annual salary, actual amount depends on performance and Aviva's.
