Individual Annuity Pricing Development Actuary

Salary: £80,000 - £90,000

We are seeking a highly skilled Actuarial Analyst to join our Annuity Pricing team. As an Individual Annuity Pricing Development Actuary, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of our Individual Annuity trading plan.

Reporting to the Annuity Pricing Director, you will work closely with a talented team to identify and lead activities to improve our pricing capability and trading performance. This will involve reviewing assumptions, developing pricing methodologies, and optimizing reinsurance arrangements.

As a leader in the pricing team, you will be responsible for mentoring and developing junior team members, driving collaboration, and fostering a great team culture. You will also have the opportunity to work with colleagues and stakeholders across the Annuity Pricing team, Retirement business, Finance, and Risk.

We are investing in a new strategic platform for our Individual Annuity business, which will support improved customer experience, new proposition development, and enhanced pricing capability. This is an exciting time to join our business and contribute to our growth and success.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Qualified Actuary (or similar experience)
  • Strong technical skills and experience in applying actuarial techniques to solve business problems
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Proven track record of leading and developing teams
  • Commercial and pricing experience a plus
