About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Actuarial Manager to join our Group Actuarial & Capital Change (GACC) team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced actuary to contribute to our Credit Risk Modelling program and help us improve our approach to credit risk modelling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement advanced credit risk models to support our capital management and pricing strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish calibrations and approaches for Solvency Capital Requirements (SCR).
  • Produce high-quality papers for expert panels and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to drive business outcomes.
Requirements
  • Qualified actuary with significant experience in credit risk modelling and annuity portfolios.
  • Proven track record in technical actuarial roles, including actuarial functions, calibrations, and stress testing.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to communicate complex information effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary between £90,000 and £100,000, depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
