Actuarial Leadership Position

We are seeking an experienced Actuarial Leadership Position to join our Group Actuarial & Capital Change (GACC) team. The successful candidate will be responsible for modelling the drivers of credit risk at a more granular level, together with Matching Adjustment in stress, establishing calibrations and the approach for the SCR, produce papers for expert panels, ensuring compliance with regulations and any impacts due to Solvency UK reform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Qualified actuary with experience of modelling credit risks and annuity portfolios
  • Proven track record in technical actuarial roles e.g., actuarial function/calibration's/MaiS
  • Ability to work independently
  • Confident to produce work of an appropriate standard for the PRA
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to simplify and communicate complex information and tailor it to the needs of the audience

What We Offer:

  • Starting salary between £90,000 and £100,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
