Job Title: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

ATA Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client's team in Chester. As a key member of the maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the site's machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out repairs and maintenance on machines and equipment as part of breakdown or preventative maintenance.
  • Ensure accurate and complete maintenance logs and paperwork in accordance with company procedure.
  • Perform mechanical and electrical work on conveyors, bearings, shafts, chains, sprockets, hydraulics, pneumatics, and motors.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and utilize electrical test equipment such as multi-meters for fault finding on panels.
Requirements:
  • Must be a qualified engineer (NVQ Level 3 Electrical or Mechanical minimum).
  • Must have previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
