Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to become an integral part of our thriving sales team, focusing on our specialized product offerings.

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven track record in sales, ideally within the insulation sector.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • A confident and proactive mindset with a flexible approach to challenges.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently, maintaining high standards of accuracy and quality.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Responsibilities:

  • Advocate for our product range to key stakeholders, including procurement officers, site managers, and technical engineers.
  • Engage with influencers, designers, and end-users to promote our offerings.
  • Identify and explore new market opportunities and customer segments.
  • Collaborate with Sales Engineers to ensure competitive and effective tender submissions.
  • Build and manage a comprehensive customer database using Membrain CRM to optimize business potential.
  • Strategically plan sales activities and client visits to ensure maximum coverage across the UK.
  • Utilize CRM tools for prospecting and to assess potential customer spend for effective budgeting and forecasting.
  • Create and deliver impactful presentations showcasing our products and services.
  • Maintain accurate sales activity records and generate timely sales reports.
  • Follow up on sales initiatives to ensure timely completion of actions.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to enhance our market position.
  • Oversee product development initiatives to introduce new products or enhance existing offerings.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary up to £42,000 per annum, based on experience.
