About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Female Support Worker to join our team at The Meath Epilepsy Charity. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support to our residents, enabling them to maintain their independence and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care provision for residents, ensuring their assessed needs are met in line with their care plan.
  • Administer and store prescribed medication in accordance with legislation.
  • Assist residents with personal care, mobility, and feeding, as needed.
  • Oversee meal preparation and serving, ensuring a well-balanced diet for each resident.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to update care plans and provide appropriate care.
  • Report any accidents or incidents to senior staff immediately.
  • Follow Safeguarding Adults at Risk Policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and reliability, with a willingness to attend training and participate in relevant activities.
  • High degree of confidentiality and discretion.
  • Relevant Health and Social Care qualification or willingness to work towards one.
