Associate/Vice President
Job SummaryCrédit Agricole CIB is seeking a highly skilled Associate/Vice President to join its Corporate and Investment Banking team. The successful candidate will be responsible for originating, structuring, and managing fund financing transactions, as well as developing and executing business and client strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Originate and structure fund financing transactions, including capital call/subscription lines, and manage the credit process up to final decision.
- Liaise with the coverage team to develop CLF business and client strategy.
- Manage the credit process, including writing credit requests and presenting transactions to business and credit committees.
- Execute transactions, including drafting and negotiating term sheets, facilities, and securities agreements.
- Participate in proposal creation and commercial origination to clients or prospects.
- Monitor portfolio facilities, including issuing guarantees, negotiating amendments, and managing the banking syndicate.
- Promote cross-selling within CACIB.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and product knowledge.
- Produce call reports and pitch documentation.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in corporate/structured finance, with a strong interest in the private equity industry.
- Fund finance experience/knowledge is a strong plus.
- Team player with a strong motivation to be part of a successful team.
- Responsible and disciplined mindset with high sensitivity to risk and compliance issues.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Good analytical and synthesis capacity.
- Capacity to work under pressure.
- Demonstrated capacities of negotiation with a propensity for building long-term commercial relationships.
