About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Academic Progress Coach to join our team at Study Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic success and progression of our international students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide academic and pastoral support to students, helping them to achieve their academic goals and overcome any challenges they may face.
  • Work closely with students, staff, and external partners to identify and address any barriers to student progression.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to support student attendance, engagement, and overall student experience.
  • Collaborate with the Progression and Transition Manager to ensure seamless student progression and transition to higher education.
  • Support the development of student events, activities, and projects that promote student engagement and success.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that support student success and progression.
Requirements
  • Experience of working with international students, preferably in a higher education setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and external partners.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Experience of using data and reporting systems to inform decision-making and support student success.
