Academic Progress Coach

We are seeking an experienced Academic Progress Coach to join our team at Study Group. As a key member of our International Study Centre, you will play a vital role in supporting students to achieve their academic goals and succeed in their studies.
Key Responsibilities- Provide academic and pastoral support to international students, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
- Work closely with subject heads and progression management teams to identify students at risk of not progressing and develop strategies to support them.
- Meet with students who have poor attendance and work with them to develop plans to improve their engagement and success.
- Support personal tutors in delivering information to students, monitoring attendance, and feeding back data to inform teaching and learning.
- Ensure that students are referred to appropriate study groups, university services, or external agencies as needed.
- Monitor RPAG data and meet with students who are at risk of not progressing, providing guidance and support to help them get back on track.
- Identify key trends and patterns in student data and feed this information into senior leadership and progression management meetings.
- Communicate with non-progressed students as directed by the progression and transition manager.
We are looking for an experienced and skilled Academic Progress Coach who can provide high-quality support to our students. You will have a strong understanding of academic and pastoral support, as well as experience of working with international students. You will be able to build strong relationships with students, staff, and external partners, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
You will also have experience of using data and reporting systems, and be able to analyze data to inform teaching and learning. You will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have a student-centered approach to planning and delivering educational services.
