We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Legal Counsel to join our team at Legal & General Resources Limited. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a critical role in providing expert legal advice and support to our business units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide legal support and guidance to our business teams, including drafting, negotiating, and amending financial services agreements.
  • Advise on legal and regulatory requirements, including AIFMD and ESG rules, to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Assess and advise on legal risk and recommend strategies to mitigate those risks.
  • Monitor events and developments that could have legal implications for our UK business.
Requirements
  • Qualified Solicitor with a current Practising Certificate.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of funds, private fund experience a plus.
  • Strong understanding of UK UCITS and Alternative Investment Funds and their regulation.
  • Experience in structuring, launching, and amending investment funds in the UK.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to deal with senior stakeholders across the business.
