Process Control Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Process Control Specialist to join our team at Pilgrim's Europe. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our process machinery, adhering to strict hygiene and health and safety standards, and maintaining high-quality production standards.
Key Responsibilities- Set up machinery for production, conducting thorough checks to ensure all guards are in place and functioning correctly.
- Ensure adherence to hygiene and health and safety procedures at all times.
- Verify the availability of correct products and equipment prior to start-up to ensure a seamless production process.
- Continuously monitor machinery to identify and report any mechanical faults or problems to the Department Manager.
- Liaise with QA to ensure high-quality products.
- Calculate throughputs and ensure correct throughput is achieved for each product.
- Minimize wastage by ensuring proper machinery setup and positioning of baskets/dolavs.
- Perform daily cleaning duties of machinery.
- Pass on relevant information and documentation to the incoming shift at shift changeover.
- Ensure all machinery is empty of product and remove it to designated storage areas at the end of production.
- Maintain all paperwork and pass relevant information/documentation to the oncoming shift.
- In the event of a fire alarm, shut down designated process machinery before leaving the building.
