Servicer - Meat Processing Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Servicer to join our team at Pilgrim's Europe. As a Servicer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our meat production process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all hygiene and health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Adhere to the allergen procedure and ensure that allergens and other ingredients are segregated correctly and not allowed to cross-contaminate.
- Monitor the quality of the product and liaise with QA when necessary.
- Calculate throughputs and ensure correct product and packaging is obtained for the product being run.
- Minimize wastage of product or materials and record any incidents.
- Ensure manual pallet wheels are clean and well-maintained, reporting any incidents.
- Pass on relevant information and documentation to the incoming shift at changeover.
- Remove all flesh, ingredients, and packaging from the line and place in correct storage at the end of production.
- Maintain packaging, ingredient, and flesh traceability through adequate, legible, and correct labeling.
- Cover ingredients, packaging, and flesh when not in use to minimize the risk of contamination.
- Weigh product or flesh correctly following company procedures (where applicable).
- Maintain all paperwork and pass on relevant information/documentation concerning the machinery to the oncoming shift.
- In the event of a fire alarm, shut down all designated process machinery before leaving the building.
Requirements:
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Effective communication and liaison skills.
- Ability to follow procedures and protocols.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
