About the Role

We have an exciting new opportunity for an individual to join our growing Proactive Parts department at our Head Office.

You will be an integral part of the team and will use our innovative tools and technology to provide a first-class service to our customers.

Your main duties will include:

  • Answering incoming telephone calls from customers and taking the appropriate action
  • Utilising our Proactive Parts App to contact customers with time-based offers
  • Keeping in regular contact with customers throughout the sales process – from initial contact to providing quotes, keeping the customer informed about delivery timescales, through to invoicing once the order is complete
  • Liaising with colleagues from other departments

About You

The role will suit someone with Parts experience, ideally in the Agricultural or Golf & Turf industry (though other industries will be considered) or someone with a farming/agricultural background who is familiar with the industry, machinery and terminology.

Skills Required

  • Knowledge and understanding of Golf & Turf/Agricultural machinery is essential
  • Previous experience of working within a John Deere or other machinery dealership is preferred
  • Previous Parts experience is preferred
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills with a confident telephone manner
  • Very strong IT skills with the ability to quickly familiarise yourself with new software and systems
  • Must have the ability to self-motivate and work individually, managing your own workload and also able to work as part of a team

Hours of Work

Our standard working hours are 8am - 5/5.30pm Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday mornings on a rota basis.
