Job Title: People and Culture Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced People and Culture Director to join our team at Lynn Bennett Resourcing. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading our small People team and strategically partnering with our Senior Leadership Team to drive business success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build strategic partnerships with Senior Leadership Team members to support the delivery of business strategies and solutions to people challenges
  • Provide expert advice, guidance, and coaching to managers on people-related matters, including absence, performance, and ER issues
  • Lead the People Services team, supporting, coaching, and mentoring them to deliver a customer-focused, compliant people service
  • Lead on business changes, such as departmental reorganizations and restructuring, working with Senior Leadership Team members to ensure clear business cases, project plans, and communications
  • Deliver the annual employee engagement survey and support the Recruitment Advisor in designing a best-in-class talent attraction strategy and EVP
  • Design and deliver 'Management Essentials' training to upskill managers, working with the L&D Business Partner to assess skills gaps and design training to address these gaps
  • Develop and deliver an annual wellbeing strategy and plan an annual calendar of campaigns, leading the mental health first aiders and wellbeing champions
  • Support with Strategic Workforce Planning, working with the L&D Business Partner, and lead the delivery of the diversity strategy and action plan
  • Manage external relationships and partnerships to maximize opportunities, such as Disability Confident, Tech Talent Charter, and Menopause Friendly Accreditation
  • Work with the People Director on the internal comms strategy and annual internal comms plan, chairing the Employee Voice Forum
  • Develop the People team, coaching and growing them, motivating and inspiring them to deliver their best
Requirements:
  • CIPD Level 5
  • Demonstrable experience working in a senior HR role
  • Strategic partnering experience
  • Line management experience
  • Strong influencing and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • High degree of emotional intelligence
