Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Key Worker to join our team at Torus Group. As a Key Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to individuals affected by domestic abuse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Case Management: Manage a caseload of clients, providing tailored support plans and working intensively with individuals to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks, completing safety plans and making referrals to external support agencies as necessary.
  • Client Support: Provide emotional and practical support to clients, including 1-1 sessions and advocacy services.
  • Collaboration and Partnership: Work collaboratively with other agencies and professionals to ensure individual needs are met and positive outcomes achieved.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including contact sheets and safeguarding logs.
  • Training and Development: Participate in in-house training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Teamwork and Flexibility: Demonstrate a flexible approach to working hours and support the cover of shifts during periods of staff absence.
Requirements
  • Qualifications and Experience: Relevant qualifications and experience in a related field, including working with vulnerable adults and children.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Ability to think critically and solve problems, with a flexible approach to working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Safeguarding and Confidentiality: Understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
